Outdoor Leadership

Southern Adventist University (SAU) wanted the outside community to know that Collegedale, Tennessee is a fun place to explore. The Outdoor Leadership website reveals a treasure trove of great resources found both on- and off-campus.

Visitors to the site can find more information on special educational event programming that can be conducted for younger audiences. Outdoor Leadership staff will arrange special programs that will develop outdoor skills along with teamwork and trust building opportunities.

All the great places to visit on campus and off campus are also easy to find. The campus has things like a natural rock-climbing wall, a cave, ropes course and more. Almost 100 outdoor getaway spots of the greater Chattanooga area are plotted on an interactive map with driving directions from SAU.

If you want to go canoeing but cannot afford to buy all the gear, then you can rent a canoe for a fraction of the cost it would take to buy one new. Online visitors can get more information about this and other rentals from SAU.
